Land registration charges
What is paid at the registration office when land is bought, sold, gifted or partitioned: stamp duty, transfer duty and registration fee, on the higher of the government market value and the price agreed. The market value is on the registration department's portal, or at the sub-registrar's office.
The rates are being entered one by one from the registration departments' own charts, each checked by a person. Until then no rate is shown here.
User charges, scanning, mutation and the document writer's fee are not included.
